ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Kaleem Imam has warned the police officers to amend their attitude and ensure friendly policing in the Capital otherwise strict action would be taken against them. Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Kaleem Imam has said that black sheeps bringing bad name to police department will not be tolerated. ISLAMABAD: The global human rights watchdog, Amnesty International (AI) has said the government of India must take immediate steps to end all kinds of torture and other ill-treatment, in accordance with the AI charter. The programme director of AI for Asia Pacific, Sam Zarifi in a letter to the Indian Home Minister, P Chidambaram said that the human rights watchdog continued to receive reports of torture and ill- treatment of individuals in custody from Jammu and Kashmir, KMS reported.
